When the distance is greater, the payload heavier, and the stakes higher, we scale the architecture.

MASTIFF isn't just WHIPPET scaled. It's what happens when the same engineering discipline is applied to an entirely different class of problems.
Where WHIPPET serves the gap left by conventional transport at the edge of infrastructure, MASTIFF operates in the space where infrastructure never existed. Longer distances. Heavier payloads. Missions measured in hours, not minutes.
A bulk medical resupply to a region cut off for weeks. A persistent surveillance capability over a maritime corridor. A logistics line into a forward position where no vehicle can go, and no crewed aircraft can stay.
These aren't edge cases. They are the missions that existing platforms either can't reach or can't sustain. MASTIFF is designed to fill that space, carrying 1,000 kg across 780 km, with six hours of endurance and a dash speed exceeding 314 kph.
Battery-electric systems at this scale face a fundamental constraint: energy density. MASTIFF solves it with hydrogen fuel cells and onboard hydrogen storage, giving the platform the endurance the mission requires rather than what battery chemistry allows.
The result is a 1,900 kg maximum takeoff weight platform with a 6 m wingspan, electric ducted fans, and powered flight controls in the exhaust. A blended-wing-body airframe that keeps drag and structural weight low across the full flight envelope.
MASTIFF is designed for fully autonomous beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations. The autopilot system manages the complete mission profile without needing a human operator in the loop once airborne. Landing gear skids and wheels provide flexibility across surface types, and the payload bay is designed for field access and reconfiguration between sorties.
For operators running persistent missions in environments where maintaining line-of-sight or crew availability isn't possible, that autonomy isn't a feature. It's the operating model.
MASTIFF is in concept development, built on the validated architecture and flight programme data from WHIPPET. The specifications above reflect real design work, not aspirational numbers. As the programme matures, further details will follow.
PULSHN develops the platform. Partners manufacture at scale. If MASTIFF fits your operational picture, we'd like to hear from you before the programme hardens.
MASTIFF is designed for defence and security operators, maritime logistics providers, and large-scale humanitarian response organisations who need uncrewed capability at a scale that current platforms don't deliver. Early partner conversations are open now. Get in touch if you’d like to discuss your needs.
